Congratulations Dr. Kimbra Bell!

Dr. Kimbra Aria Bell , daughter of Josephine Crawford Bell and James Bell was recently named President of Meharry Medical College National Alumni Association at Nashville, Tennessee. Her parents, and siblings, Bruce and Kandice were on hand to witness this outstanding honor and occasion.
She is a Board Certified Internist and an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at the Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Additionally, she was named by the Chicago Defender as one of Chicago’s “Women of Excellence” at its 7th annual High Tea Reception and Awards program. She has also served as the President of the state society of the National Medical Association from 2004-2012.

Kimbra is the daughter of Drs. James and Josephine Crawford Bell of Pine Bluff/White Hall, Arkansas, and the granddaughter of Mrs. Cassie Bell of White Hall, and the granddaughter of Willie Lee and Emma Crawford.
