Because we have quite a few Crawford children of school age, we have heard that some families may not be attending our reunions because many schools are beginning earlier and earlier in August. Therefore, some have expressed a desire to change the date from the 2nd weekend in August.

After a long discussion during the 2007 Detroit banquet meeting, it was decided that we would get an opinion from all of us (those present and those not present). A questionnaire was included with the 2008 Ft. Myers’ reunion information packet. We also provided the questionnaire on our family website so that you could also respond online and have your input will be included in the decision-making process.

Based on the mailed and online responses, the reunion date has been changed to coincide with the first Saturday in August. Please be sure and understand that the reunion is centered around the FIRST Saturday in August, NOT the first weekend in August.

The dates for the 2009 reunion are Friday, July 31st, Saturday, August 1st and Sunday, August 2nd. See You in Chicago!
